Students must first activate their G Suite account and set their password from a computer by logging in to LCPSGo first, click on the Google group of icons, click on Google Drive, and then login the first time using and the school network password. This activates their account in the LCPS Google domain. Buying a personal computer is an individual family decision.
The use of LCPS G Suite does not require students to have their own computer or any other personal device at school. Should I get my child their own computer? LCPS does not supply devices for student home use at this time (coming in Fall 2018). As LCPS G Suite is safe and web based, it can be accessed from the public library or other places where computers and Internet access are available.
